With the passage of the Federal Government’s CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Stimulus) Act, New Jersey has the ability to help all of our airports through the existing Aviation Improvement Program (AIP). Additionally, CARES makes available new funds to all airports within the National Airspace System. MAAC is requesting our NJDOT to get ahead of the curve and request funding for NJ Airports which are chronically underfunded for airport improvements.
